Stand with Oxfordshire Fire Department: Supporting Our Heroes and Their Families

The courageous men and women of the Oxfordshire Fire Department face danger every day to keep our community safe. On May 15th, 2025, that danger tragically claimed the lives of two of our own, Jennie Logan and Martyn Sadler, while they bravely fought a fire at Bicester Motion. Their dedication to service and their selfless actions will never be forgotten. We also mourn the loss of David Chester, a member of our community. Jennie and Martyn embodied the true spirit of heroism, and their loss leaves a void in the hearts of their colleagues and the community they served so valiantly. Two other firefighters were injured in the blaze and are currently receiving medical care. Let us come together to honor the memory of Jennie and Martyn, offer our deepest condolences to the Chester family, and provide crucial support to all those affected by this tragedy. Your donation will directly aid the families of these heroes and help the injured firefighters on their road to recovery.
