Support for FF Anthony Edwards and family after on-duty injury
Support for FF Anthony Edwards and family
A 501(c)(3) Tax-Deductible Campaign
Illinois FF Anthony Edwards was injured while working at his part-time department, suffering a broken ankle that required surgery to repair torn ligaments and properly set the bones. He is a devoted husband and father of two daughters, with a third child expected soon. Unfortunately, because of this injury, Anthony is currently unable to work and is not receiving income from Calumet Park, which serves as his family's primary source of financial support. His recovery is expected to take approximately three to four months before he is able to return to work.
Anthony will exhaust all available sick leave and vacation time by June 14. Members of the Calumet Park department have come together to provide as much assistance as possible during this difficult period, but resources are limited. Their goal is simply to help bridge the gap until he can return to work, so let’s get Anthony and his family the support they will need during this difficult time.
