Relief for the family of FF Sam Fuller following his passing after cancer diagnosis

Relief for the family of FF Sam Fuller

A 501(c)(3) Tax-Deductible Campaign

Kentucky firefighter Sam Fuller, Unit 935, had been an active member of the department for a little over a year. Most recently, he met the love of his life and married his wife. Just weeks after their wedding, Sam was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Tragically, doctors informed him that there were no treatment options available. He was placed on hospice care and returned home during the week prior to his passing.

On June 6, 2026, Sam passed away at home surrounded by his family, friends, and his brothers and sisters from the department. In the short time he was with the department, Sam quickly became part of the family and gave his all in everything he did. No matter the day of the week, you could often find him at the station meticulously detailing the trucks because he believed they should always shine. He eagerly participated in every training opportunity, constantly striving to learn more, and was always willing to help anyone in need, whether responding to a call or lending a hand around the department. Let’s send the Fuller family all the love and support we can.
