Relief for Cpt. Shane Simcox and family while he remains hospitalized awaiting heart transplant
Relief for Cpt. Shane Simcox and family
A 501(c)(3) Tax-Deductible Campaign
Captain Shane Simcox of the Fort Lauderdale Fire Department has dedicated more than twenty years to serving the South Florida community. Throughout his career, he has devoted himself to helping others through some of the most difficult and frightening moments of their lives. Now, Shane and his family are facing a serious medical challenge of their own. For the past four months, he has been awaiting a heart transplant, currently hospitalized and supported by ECMO while on standby for the lifesaving transplant he urgently needs.
Rather than serving alongside his fellow firefighters and returning home to his wife and daughters, Shane is focused on fighting to regain his health. His family and loved ones are standing beside him during this difficult time, all of them holding on to hope for a successful transplant and recovery. Let’s unite to ease their financial burden and allow them some peace of mind during their fight.
