CFD’s Battalion Chief Sean Kevin was a 30-year veteran of the Chicago Fire Department who dedicated his career to protecting and serving the citizens of Chicago. He began his career as a firefighter and went on to serve as a lieutenant and captain before becoming a Battalion Chief in 2023. Recently, Sean unexpectedly passed away. His sudden passing has left his family, colleagues, and community mourning the loss of a dedicated public servant. Throughout his career, he was respected for his commitment to the Chicago Fire Department and those he served.
Sean leaves behind three beloved children who are now facing the loss of their father. His passing has created an unimaginable loss for his family and those who knew him. As his family navigates this difficult time, let’s rally behind them to honor Sean and support their ability to remember him during this time.
