Support for FF Zach Marcus and family while on standby for kidney transplant
Support for FF Zach Marcus and family
A 501(c)(3) Tax-Deductible Campaign
At just 33 years old, Connecticut’s FF Zach Marcus is facing end-stage renal disease and is currently undergoing dialysis while urgently seeking a kidney transplant. As he fights for his health, his family of five is facing significant emotional and financial challenges. Zach has dedicated nearly 20 years to serving others, beginning as a cadet with the New Hartford Fire Department at age 14. Through years of commitment and service, he worked his way up to Captain, answering countless calls and putting the needs of his community first. His dedication to helping others has been a defining part of his life.
Now, Zach and his family need that same support in return. The costs of medical treatment, dialysis, transportation, missed work, and daily living expenses are quickly placing a heavy burden on the family. These challenges come at a time when Zach’s focus should be on his health and recovery. Let’s do what we can do lighten the load for Zach and his family as they face these difficulties.
