Texas’ Cody Puckett is a firefighter and paramedic with the Belton Fire Department, where he has proudly served for the past three years. Earlier this year, Cody was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and is now preparing to undergo surgery to have his thyroid removed. Following the procedure, he will require lifelong medication to replace the hormones his thyroid would normally produce. Cody and his wife, Erin, are also raising a young child while navigating the uncertainty and challenges that come with his diagnosis. Despite these circumstances, Cody continues to be a hardworking firefighter and a valued member of his department.
Cody and his family are now facing the financial and personal challenges that come with his treatment and recovery. His upcoming surgery and ongoing medical care will require time away from work as he focuses on his health. Let’s support the Pucketts while they navigate a stressful situation.
