Ohio’s Jamie Meklemburg served as the Fire Chief of the Seven Hills Fire Department for more than six years. He previously held the rank of Lieutenant with the Brooklyn Heights Fire Department and spent over fifteen years with the Valley View Fire Department. Outside of his career, Jamie was very involved in his children’s activities, coaching youth sports and supporting them in all they pursued.
On April 5, 2026, Chief Meklemburg passed away at the age of 47. He served his community with professionalism and commitment throughout his career. He is survived by his wife and two children. Let’s come together to provide the Meklemburg family not only love, but relief through financial support during this difficult period of loss.
