Answering the Call for the Fritzman Family
Honoring a Brother, Supporting a Father
Help us support the family of Norfolk Firefighter Blaine Fritzman.
Our Loss The Norfolk Fire Rescue family is heartbroken.
On November 6, we lost Engine Operator Blaine Fritzman. Blaine was more than just a firefighter; he was the heart of the station. He served our community since 2007, always ready to lend a hand and lift the spirits of everyone around him.
The Reality Blaine passed away at age 36 after a battle with mental illness. He leaves behind a wife and two children who are now facing a future without him. Unfortunately, typical benefits often do not cover tragedies like this. The financial burden on his family is immediate and real.
Our Mission We are raising funds to ensure Blaine’s children and wife have what they need during this impossible time. Blaine looked out for us for 16 years. Now, we look out for his own.
