It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of Macon, who tragically passed away at the age of 17 this week. Macon was a beloved son and brother, and his loss has shaken our entire community.
His father, Trey, a dedicated firefighter who has spent his career saving others, did everything he could to save his son in his final moments. The emotional toll on Trey, his wife Amy, and Macon’s brother Will is immeasurable.
As they attempt to process this grief, the last thing they should worry about is financial stress. We are launching this campaign to cover funeral expenses and living costs, allowing the family to take the time they need to grieve without the pressure of returning to work immediately.
