A 501(c)(3) Tax-Deductible Campaign
Rapid City, SD - FF Dalton Winegar of Rapid Valley Volunteer Fire Department, and his wife, Catherine, recently took their nine-week-old son, Maverick, to the emergency room after he began experiencing seizures. Following a brief stay in the NICU, doctors discovered bleeding in Maverick's brain that was causing increased pressure. The family was immediately transferred to a medical center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, for further care. Maverick arrived early Wednesday morning and has thankfully not experienced any additional seizures since. However, his condition remains uncertain as doctors work to determine the next steps in his treatment.
Dalton and Catherine now face an unexpected and difficult journey as they focus on their son's health and recovery. With many questions still unanswered, the family is taking each day as it comes. Their immediate priority is ensuring Maverick receives the care and support he needs. So let’s facilitate his care and alleviate their burdens the best we can.
