Support Firefighter Michael Consigliere

On November 23rd, Michael Consigliere's life changed forever. This dedicated City of Goose Creek firefighter, Army veteran, husband, and father was visiting family when a negligent discharge critically injured him. A bullet shattered his scapula, fractured his humerus, and lodged in his neck.

Michael was rushed to the ER, placed in a coma, and underwent emergency surgery. When he woke, he faced a new battle: radial palsy, leaving his dominant hand without function. This was just the beginning of a long and painful recovery.

After months of intensive therapy and multiple consultations, Michael's progress stalled.

Doctors discovered his nerve was severely compressed and flattened against a plate due to previous surgical hardware. A third surgery confirmed this painful reality. Now, Michael battles CRPS II, a severe chronic pain condition, and faces a fourth surgery to remove the bullet from his neck.

Michael has exhausted all his leave. He attends rehab and medical appointments multiple times a week, making it impossible to return to work. Once an active first responder and father, Michael now confronts debilitating chronic pain, severely limited mobility, and mounting medical debt.

Michael and his family desperately need our help to navigate this long and uncertain road ahead. Your support allows Michael to focus on healing and recovery without the crushing burden of medical expenses and financial strain.

Donate today and help Michael fight for his future.
