Ohio’s firefighter/paramedic Darrell Rose both served his community of Bainbridge Township and was a loyal member of Bainbridge Professional Firefighters Local 5390 for over 20 years. A beacon of kindness, Darrell earned the respect and love of many as a family man and public servant.
Monday, February 23rd, 2026, Darrell tragically passed away after a lengthy struggle with mental illness. He is survived by his two children, aged 9 and 11. Already dealing with this shattering loss, the last thing the Rose family should have to worry about is funeral costs. Let’s lighten the load and allow them time to remember a great man as they need it.
The road to mental wellness, especially for our firefighters, can be difficult to navigate. Asking for guidance or help from a friend, or reaching out to those you think may be suffering can make a much deserved world of difference. Love and appreciation knows no bounds in this community- never be afraid to show it.
