Michigan’s FF Bruce McMurty of the Detroit Fire Department recently underwent a follow-up CT scan, during which doctors discovered a mass on his left kidney. A subsequent MRI confirmed that the mass is renal cancer. Following further evaluation, his medical team has determined that the mass can be surgically removed.

Fortunately, the cancer was detected early, and doctors have indicated that his prognosis is very good. Bruce and his family are now preparing for the upcoming procedure and the challenges that accompany his treatment. Let’s provide Bruce and his family some support for this fight.
