FF Josh Jennings has served his community of Evington, Virginia for over five years. In October of 2025, he developed severe back issues. Recently, these issues progressed to the point where he can no longer walk. As a result, he has been admitted to the emergency room for increasingly unbearable pain. FF Jennings has since been completely bedridden and needs large doses of pain medication every few hours just to stay comfortable. Update, 3/14/26: He is now a candidate for surgery, as he cannot feel his legs anymore. Neurology is monitoring him, and pain medication is not working well, and is wearing off much faster than before.
Because of this, he is out of work and it is uncertain when he will be able to return to his duties. He is the primary provider for his partner and their two young children. The loss of income, in addition to mounting medical expenses, will be devastating for the family. So let’s ease their burden the best we can, offering some confidence in the face of adversity.
