Honor a Fallen Hero: Support the Family of Firefighter Tony Spero
When the unthinkable happens, we step up.
On August 7th, the fire service family lost one of its own. The Springdale Fire Department is grieving the tragic off-duty death of Firefighter-Paramedic Tony Spero.
Since 2015, Tony was more than just a dedicated member of our department; he was a brother. He was the firefighter you could always count on, the skilled paramedic you trusted on a tough call, and the friend whose kind spirit made the firehouse feel like home.
Tony’s commitment to service was extraordinary. His dedication didn't stop at the Springdale city limits; he also proudly served as a member of the Tontitown Fire Department, protecting two communities with passion and skill. He lived a life of service, always ready to answer the call for a stranger in need.
Now, it’s our turn to answer the call for him.
Tony leaves behind a loving family who now faces a future without their husband, father, and son. While we can never replace their loss, we can surround them with the strength of the fire service brotherhood. We can ease the financial burden that comes with such an unexpected tragedy.
Your donation will go directly to the Spero family to help with immediate expenses and provide a measure of stability during this incredibly difficult time. Let's show his family that they are not alone and that Tony's sacrifice and service will never be forgotten.
As firefighters, we are a family. When one of us falls, we rise together to lift up those they leave behind. We are asking for your help to ensure Tony's family is cared for during this incredibly difficult time.
Let's surround them with the support of the brotherhood and sisterhood he so proudly served.
