Columbia FD’s Christopher Johnson showed up for his community with unwavering courage, compassion, and commitment. Loved and respected by those who served alongside him and appreciated by the people he protected, our brother made a lasting impact. Tragically, on Sunday, March 1st, he passed away after struggling with mental illness, a heartbreaking reminder of the very real and often unseen battles that so many firefighters quietly endure.
In this difficult time, Christopher’s family needs the full support of our community. As they navigate this devastating loss, they should not also have to bear the financial burden that comes with it. Let’s come together to lift them up- easing practical concerns through financial support and surrounding them with messages of love, comfort, and solidarity.
