Generall Fernbach, a dedicated firefighter and retired member of Newport Fire Department Local 45, is facing an incredibly tough challenge. After a lifetime of service, he's now battling glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer.

Even after retirement, General Fernbach continued to serve as chief of a neighboring department, demonstrating his unwavering commitment and dedication. His wife, Suzanne, and their family are facing immense emotional and financial burdens.
