The Incident

On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, Pleasure Ridge Park Firefighter Drake Beach was doing what he always does: answering the call. While off-duty, Drake responded to a run for his volunteer department. He didn't hesitate.

While navigating to the scene, the road physically gave way after he passed another vehicle. The resulting accident was catastrophic. As you can see from the photos, Drake’s vehicle rolled over and was destroyed.

The Injuries & The Fight Ahead

Drake survived the crash, but he took a heavy hit. He is currently hospitalized with multiple complex fractures in his right leg. Doctors have confirmed he will require multiple surgeries to repair the damage.

The recovery timeline is currently unknown, but one thing is certain: Drake will be out of service for a significant amount of time. He cannot work, but the bills—medical and personal—will not stop.

How You Can Help

Drake puts his life on the line for Pleasure Ridge Park and his volunteer community. Now, he needs us to have his back. We are raising funds to cover his medical expenses and lost wages during this long recovery.

Please help us hold the line for Drake and his family. Every donation helps him focus on healing rather than financial stress.
