Honoring the Legacy of David Pollack

We stand together as a community, especially during the most challenging moments life can bring. Now, we mourn the loss of our hero, Wilmington Firefighter Paramedic David Pollack.

David's Story:

David’s life was dedicated to serving and saving others. However, a tragic motorcycle accident cut his journey short. Unfortunately, David succumbed to his injuries. He leaves behind his beloved wife and two young nieces.

A Family in Need:

In this time of immense sorrow, his family faces the emotional devastation of their loss, and also the daunting financial burdens ahead. David's brothers and sisters at the Wilmington Fire Protection District, Coal City Fire Protection District, and Morris Fire Protection and Ambulance District also grieve for their fallen comrade.
